Heneral Luna is No. 35 at the U.S. Box Office! Opens Nov. 6 in more US Cities
After opening in three theaters in New York and New Jersey last Friday (October 30), the film Heneral Luna garnered an impressive earning of $17,441, helping us land in the Top 35 slot on its opening weekend. This brings up the film per screen average to $5,814, making it one of the best-performing films of the week even though box office pundits are calling it “the worst weekend of 2015”
The New York Times released a mostly favorable review of Heneral Luna, calling it “a Patriotic Biopic That Aspires to Epicness.” Reports from fans of the film said that the film’s screening in New York and New Jersey were received positively by our fellow kababayans. Some screenings even ended in thunderous applause. For that, we thank each and every one of you who marched to theaters during opening weekend.
The film is set to open in more US cities this coming Friday (Nov. 6) and we urge you to invite your friends and family to see the film in theaters. All of our International screenings have ENGLISH subtitles so that your foreign friends are able to see and understand the film.
